Eric Harr Bio
Eric Harr went from being a less-than-trim legal clerk to a world-class triathlete, author, radio host, and all-around media personality, and it all started on his morning commute. Harr, winner of more than 30 professional triathlon events in 23 countries (including The Maizuru, Japan Duathlon, The Cayman Islands Triathlon, and San Francisco?s Alcatraz Triathlon), has made appearances on The Discovery Channel, PBS, ESPN, and Fox. Most recently, he won the overall title at the TBF Racing Sacramento Triathlon, finishing the event in less than two hours. And now, he?s on Sportskool helping you get up to speed with the world?s top fitness professionals.

Harr had made weekly appearances on CBS? Weekend Early Edition, and also writes a weekly fitness column for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate. He also hosts "The Eric Harr Show," a weekly show on Sirius Satellite radio. His new podcast, "Harrcast" can be found at: www.harrcast.com.

This year, Harr also kicked off the "CARE I am Powerful Workout' campaign by completing the 2007 Hawaii Ironman Triathlon as a means of encouraging people to be more active in the pursuit of their own health and fitness goals.

Eric graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., where he majored in French literature. He and his wife, Alexandra, live in Marin County, Calif., and Monte Carlo, Monaco, with their young daughter, Vivienne.
