Anthony Napolitan Bio

At the age of 14, Anthony Napolitan stepped off a football field in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio and put his career as a professional BMX rider into motion. After cultivating his skill in a friend’s backyard, Napolitan began riding at Section 8 Skate Park in Hubbard, Ohio and progressed his tricks in the wake of more talented riders. Napolitan eventually took his show on the road and met BMX pros like Chris Doyle who encouraged him to enter his first pro contest. At the 2006 Dew Tour, he joined the ranks of his teachers when he snagged the gold in BMX Dirt. Following this success Napolitan showed no signs of stopping and went on to win the entire Dew Tour contest series in dirt. The latest claim to fame for this innovative rider is his completion of the first ever BMX double front flip at the 2009 Summer X Games. This competition track record has attracted valuable sponsorship and Napolitan carries the brands of Hoffman Bikes, AMP Energy, Levi’s, Maxxis Tires, DC Shoes, and Kicker audio – just to name a few. Now 23, Anthony Napolitan resides in State College, PA and rides alongside his younger brother and fellow BMXer, Ronnie Napolitan.
